Its pretty difficult to describe the band Gogol Bordello with any other word but awesome. It's ska/punk/polka/samba/gypsy etc. etc. They're a gypsy band from the Lower East Side of New York City, a predominantly Ukranian neighborhood. Listen to their single "My Companjera". Their album Trans-Continental Hustle comes out today. An incredibly unique sound for sure. Kind of sounds like a Borat and Dropkick Murphys collabo.
